Mrs Isaiah Price
The death of Mrs Ellen F. Price, wife of Isaiah Price, Upper Wards Creek occurred Sunday evening at her home after an illness of two months . While attending the funeral of her son Esaiah, Hammond, Kings Co., Mrs Price was stricken with an illness from which she did not rally. Her loss will be keenly felt by a host of friends to whom she was drawn by her kindly manner and cheerful disposition.
In her 73 year, Mrs Price was formerly Miss Ellen Florence Lewis of Havelock and was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving besides her husband are 3 daughters, Mrs Thomas Lewis of Rothesay, Mrs Ralph Price of Mill Brook and Barbara Virtue of Upper Wards Creek and one son Irvin I. Price of Upper Wards Creek , twenty-three grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive.
The funeral was held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock with service at the Baptist Church in Upper Wards Creek. The service was conducted by Dr. N.A. MacNeil of the Church Ave Baptist Church, Sussex. Captain Ruth Holmes of the Salvation Army, Sussex assisted.
