Welcome to a website for the Burtt Family of New Brunswick. It site was created to share the life experiences of the Descendants of Benjamin (Ben) Burtt, b. 1798 and d. Jan. 18, 1879 and who
married Elizabeth (Lizzie) Crouse from the Burtt's Corner area. Everyone remembers talking to a elder member of their family about their life experiences and thought this should be written down so others can learn about their family.
My Grandfather Burtt died when I was young so I did not get to the Burtt's very well and now I am researching who these people were. He has been a big influence on my life enough though I can barely remember him. My love of automobiles, sports and family comes directly from him.
Reading some of the history of the area I have a great sense of pride knowing my family helped to build the community of Burtt's Corner.
